"Igbos Can’t Thrive In Current Nigeria Setup" – Sowore Claims

Former African Action Congress presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has made startling claims about the government’s stance towards the Igbo people.

In a recent episode of the Honest Bunch Podcast, Sowore alleged a secret memo exists, cautioning against empowering Igbos with “political positions and opportunities.”

“Nigeria has an Igbo problem,” Sowore stated.

“There is a secret memo in the government to be careful of Igbos…

“For an Igbo man to survive in Nigeria as it is currently put together, Nigeria must break.”

Sowore’s comments has since sparked controversy across social media platforms, highlighting long-standing concerns about ethnic tensions and representation in Nigeria.
