Nollywood veteran Ramsey Nouah has revealed a nostalgic chapter from his early career, recounting a love triangle involving himself, fellow actor Emeka Ike, and the iconic Genevieve Nnaji.

In a candid interview, Nouah reflected on the bond he shares with Emeka Ike, describing him as a "friend and brother" with whom he navigated the beginnings of fame. Both actors, he disclosed, were captivated by Genevieve's undeniable charm and elegance during their early Nollywood days.

“Genevieve was more than just beautiful—she had this peaceful aura and a Midas touch that made everyone love her,” Nouah shared. “As a young man, I naturally wanted to be her man, believing our union could bring good fortune.”

However, the situation took a turn when Nouah discovered that Emeka Ike also had feelings for Genevieve. Choosing camaraderie over rivalry, Nouah decided to step aside but not before seeking reassurance from his friend.

“I confronted Emeka and told him I was on the same quest,” Nouah said. “But I agreed to let go after he promised to treat her better than I ever could. He assured me he would give her the love she deserved.”

Despite Emeka Ike’s assurances, the relationship between him and Genevieve didn’t materialize as expected. Nouah refrained from passing judgment, acknowledging that love is a personal choice.

“I stepped back, even though there were rumors flying on blogs like Linda Ikeji and Gossipmill suggesting I had won her over with my playboy charm,” he joked. “In the end, they didn’t end up together, but that’s life—every adult has the right to choose their path in love.”

Ramsey Nouah’s reflections offer a rare glimpse into the behind-the-scenes dynamics of Nollywood’s golden era and the mutual respect that existed among its biggest stars.
