The incident involving Atsi Kefas, the sister of Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, is a tragic and alarming development.

On Thursday, December 5, gunmen attacked their convoy along Kente Road in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State. During the attack, Governor Kefas's sister Atsi was reportedly shot by a police escort who was part of their security detail.

The governor's mother, Jumai, was also in the convoy during the attack.

In a bid to repel the attackers, a police officer assigned to escort the family “accidentally shot Atsi,” the publication reported. Following the ambush, troops swiftly intervened, rescuing the victims and evacuating Jumai and Atsi Kefas from the scene using an air ambulance.

Atsi Kefas was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention. However, her current condition remains undisclosed as of the time of this report. Security operatives investigating the attack reportedly recovered the vehicle used by the gunmen. An empty magazine and passenger luggage were also found inside the vehicle.

That is what you get when all family members become Government officials because one of them was elected into office. If the sister, brother, cousins et all are living very simple lives and going about the normal businesses they used to have before their brother became the Governor, maybe, this wouldnt have happened. Sorry though.
