Tragedy struck in Niger State as a retired Permanent Secretary from the Ministry of Works, Architect Adamu Jagaba, was fatally stabbed by an unidentified assailant on Saturday afternoon, December 7, 2024.
The incident occurred at Jagaba’s block industry near the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat in Minna, where the victim was reportedly attacked and stabbed multiple times.
Jagaba, a revered community leader and former aspirant for the Paikoro/Bosso Federal Constituency seat under the PDP in the 2023 general elections, was well-known for his contributions to the state’s development. His death has left many in shock and mourning across the state.
The Niger State Police Command has confirmed the launch of a full-scale investigation to identify and apprehend the perpetrator of the gruesome act. Authorities assured the public that no stone would be left unturned in ensuring justice is served.
