The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has launched a search for a 65-year-old woman, Becky Mbazuan, who has been reported missing.

In a statement issued on Sunday, FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed that the missing woman hails from Kwande Local Government Area in Benue State.

Mbazuan was last seen on December 7, 2024, when she left her home to attend a service at the NKST Church in New Nyanya. She was reportedly wearing a green Ankara outfit at the time of her disappearance.

The police have called on members of the public to assist in locating her. "Well-meaning individuals with any useful information about her whereabouts should contact the nearest police station," the statement urged.

The authorities remain committed to ensuring the safe return of the sexagenarian and appeal for cooperation from the public in providing timely and actionable information.
