Former artist under Naira Marley’s record label, Lil Smart, has stirred a storm of controversy on social media, accusing Naira Marley and fellow artist Zinoleesky of being involved in the death of Mohbad and engaging in criminal activities against him.
In a series of explosive Instagram posts, Lil Smart accused Naira Marley, Zinoleesky, and their associates, INN and MMP, of drugging him repeatedly and carrying out a violent attack. According to Lil Smart, the incident escalated when he was kidnapped, robbed, and stripped of his belongings, which included his skateboard, necklace, wallet with $300, and trousers containing his house key.
In one post, Lil Smart shared photos and videos that he claimed were linked to the attack. He recounted the terrifying experience, stating that he was left stranded and had to flee naked onto a busy expressway, where a Good Samaritan eventually came to his aid.
The allegations took a darker turn when Lil Smart threatened to release further evidence of the incident, which he claimed would expose more damaging details about Naira Marley’s past, including accusations of rape and a reported ban from entering the UK.
The accusations have ignited widespread discussion online, with fans and followers expressing shock and disbelief. The ongoing feud between Lil Smart and his former labelmates adds to the growing controversy surrounding Mohbad’s tragic death, which has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice in the Nigerian music industry.
