A restaurant employee has narrated an incident that he witnessed during Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's time in the White House.
The employee said Barack and Michelle came to the restaurant where he works for dinner and when it was time to pay, Barack provided his credit card.
However, the card got declined and the server who ran the card was so nervous.
Earlier in the night, the sever had spilled hot tea on Barack because she was nervous and she had to return to tell him his card declined.
Michelle Obama produced her card and paid for the food.
As they left, the employee said Barack told the server, "I won't tell anyone you spilled tes on me if you don't tell anyone my card was declined."
The restaurant employee shared the encounter on X after a user asked, "When the president goes out to eat, who pays for the food?"
