Olajumoke Orisaguna, widely recognized as ‘Olajumoke Onibread,’ has opened up about alleged exploitation she faced in the entertainment industry.
During an appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast, shared on X Sunday, Olajumoke revealed that, despite the public perception of her success, many of the jobs she did with celebrities were unpaid.
She specifically mentioned an experience with singer Harrysong, alleging that she was not compensated for her role in his Chacha music video, despite claims to the contrary.
Olajumoke also highlighted other incidents where she felt shortchanged, including being paid N200,000 for work that involved traveling abroad.
“I went to Harrysong’s house in Lekki, did a dance for him in his video. He claimed he paid me N400K according to a written statement, but it is false; I did it for free. He didn’t pay me anything,” she said.
“They used me for work and didn’t pay me. One paid me N200K after taking me to South Africa for work.”
Olajumoke Orisaguna gained widespread fame in 2016 after being unexpectedly featured in a photoshoot by Nigerian photographer TY Bello.
At the time, Olajumoke was a bread seller walking through the background of a shoot for British-Nigerian rapper Tinie Tempah.
