Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, has assured that President Bola Tinubu has no cause for concern with Senate President Godswill Akpabio in his position.
Bamidele stated that Akpabio’s effective leadership is one of the key factors contributing to the president’s peaceful nights.
He made this remark on Monday while representing a group of senators who gathered at Akpabio’s residence in Abuja to celebrate his 62nd birthday.
Bamidele said, “I know one of the reasons he (President Tinubu) can sleep well is because he has you (Akpabio) as the President of the Senate. He trusts you, depends on you, relies on you, and takes your words very seriously.
“Mr. President of the Senate, we are all very proud of you. I’m standing here on behalf of my colleagues, and I’m privileged to speak for them. I know I’m saying nothing other than what they expect me to say.
“We are very proud of you. We want to thank you for who you are and for the exceptional leadership you provide.”
