Nigerian singer Terry Apala has publicly credited his colleague, international superstar Wizkid, for giving his music career a significant boost. In a recent interview with Pulse, Apala revealed that Wizkid's involvement in the remix of his hit song *Apala Disco* was a game-changer, both musically and financially.
Apala explained that Wizkid’s decision to feature on the track helped save him substantial amounts of money he would have otherwise spent on promoting the song. The artist emphasized that the collaboration was a turning point in his career, noting that it was more of a divine intervention than anything he had planned.
"It wasn’t my doing. Wizkid just decided to help me, seeing that I’ve been struggling in the music industry for so long," Apala shared. "He changed my entire career with just one verse. It’s more like a shortcut. It’s like you’re planning to spend millions to promote your song, and Wizkid now jumped on the track; it will automatically reduce the promotion budget. That’s how God works."
The *Apala Disco* remix, which also features rising star Seyi Vibez and DJ Tunez, has gained significant attention, further elevating Apala's profile in the competitive Nigerian music industry.
