The news was confirmed by his colleague, Ajemba Stanley Chibueze, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, through an Instagram post on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
Stanley shared a photo of the late Chijioke and revealed that the filmmaker had attended a family meeting, where he suddenly collapsed and died in eastern Nigeria.
Describing the loss as shocking and deeply painful, Stanley Ontop expressed his grief over Chijioke Ike’s unexpected death.
He revealed that Chijioke was the owner of Global Golden Movies, a well-known production and marketing company in the industry.
Stanley did not share additional details about his colleague’s death but described the event as an “irreplaceable loss” to Nollywood.
