hey!!  dguy your questions always keep one in tight corner, well betting stand in the middle of both. to a good christian is a sin, although the bible only says that those aspiring to hold position in the house of GOD should not be a sriker meaning that it must be someone that does not engaged in betting. but to think of it betting is act of using one to gain double as a  true believer we should not take part in this kind of life, we can't help God if HE says that He will prosper you and the time has not come, wait it will surely come to pass cos He that promises is faithful to do it.  one thing we should know is that those that engaged in betting spent or used huge amount of money or material thing to bett but in the end they might end up loosing; some people have turn their life upsidedown all b/cos of betting many homes are in shambles today b/cos of betting some can't play their parental roll again all b/cos betting, alots of childs  hopes and destine as been dash today all b/cos the head of the family is in the pool of betting. if we can visit betting headquater (las-vegas) then you will know what i am talking about, even in our locality we can see how those that play coupons they have been adicted to that life so  we can use them as a good example. However betting to unbelievers is a way of life.

Betting is a sin, in the sense that the Reward, lets use Money as an instance here, was never worked for. You bet; hoping, praying and can go to extreme measures to see that you win.

Greed is also associated with Betting. Cos you would want to reap the other person off. And we all that Greed is a Vice.

It breed bad blood and can turn friends into foes. Cos nobody will be happy to loose his/her hard earned money just like that.
