A Nigerian lady has raised eyebrows after she confessed to cheating on her boyfriend with another man while lying about her whereabouts.
In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), the lady was interviewed on the street and asked about the biggest lie she ever told her boyfriend.
Without hesitation, she revealed that she once spent time in a hotel with another man while making her boyfriend believe she was at home.
She further disclosed that her boyfriend had wanted to video call her, but she avoided it by lying that there was no electricity at home.
In her words:
“I was with another guy, and my boyfriend kept calling me. The other guy was better than him, so I went to see him. I only visit him when I’m in the mood. My boyfriend wanted to video call me, but I lied that there was no light at home.”
“He wanted to see my face and where I was, but I told him I was at home with no light, and he believed me.”
“I went to be with another guy while my boyfriend kept calling because he loves video calls. I didn’t pick up and even told the guy with me that it was my brother calling.”
“Since the other guy wanted to date me too, I stepped into the bathroom and texted my boyfriend instead of sending a voice note, so he wouldn’t hear my surroundings. He believed me. He even bought me data that day.”
