Gunmen suspected to be bandits launched a deadly attack on Rarah community in Sokoto State on Saturday night, killing one resident, injuring another, and abducting at least 15 people, including men, women, and children.
The incident was disclosed by security analyst Bakatsine via his official X handle, where he provided details of the attack.
“Bandits stormed Rarah community yesterday night, killed one person, injured another, and abducted at least 15 people, including men, women, and children,” he posted.
As of the time of this report, authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the attack. Residents of the affected area remain in distress as insecurity continues to plague communities in the region.
