Channels TV’s political correspondent, Seun Akinbaloye has quashed rumours purporting his membership of a secret cult.
He said he is a child of God.
Gistmania reports that a video clip that recently went viral on social media had sparked rumours, speculating that the journalist belongs to a secret cult.
Clearing the air, Seun said the motion picture was captured when he recently visited his alma mater where he studied Theatre Art some years ago.
According to him, the misconstrued event was an induction program for new students in the performing and film art.
Speaking while hosting popular lawyer, Femi Falana on Monday, Seun said it was a “video I made when I went back to my alma mater where I studied theatre art.
“That was an induction program for new students in the performing and film art department where I did mine about 25 years ago.
“I went back to honour them and welcome them into the creative community but people said they didn’t know I have traditional occultic power.
“I’m not a member of a secret cult, I’m a child of God. I’m a Christian born into a Christian family”.
