A devastating fire outbreak in Dan Barage town, Garki Local Government Area of Jigawa State, has left several families homeless and destroyed valuable properties.
Confirming the incident, the Council Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Hudu Kore, revealed that the fire, which broke out on Thursday, consumed three houses and multiple food stalls, rendering many residents without shelter or a means of livelihood.
Although no lives were lost, Kore expressed deep concern over the extent of the destruction. He offered prayers for divine protection against future disasters and urged the government to provide swift assistance to the affected families.
Meanwhile, the victims have made an urgent appeal to the government and kind-hearted individuals to help them rebuild their lives.
