Asake's Ex Manager, Tunde Phoenix Berates Him For Neglecting His Sick Father, Plans GoFundMe

Tunde Phoenix, the former manager of renowned Nigerian artist Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, has publicly criticized the singer for allegedly neglecting his ailing father, who is reportedly suffering from a stroke.

Phoenix has pledged to initiate a GoFundMe campaign to assist with the father’s medical treatment. This announcement follows a plea for financial support made by a man named Fatai Odunsi, who claims to be Asake’s father, in a video that has been widely shared.

In the video, Odunsi introduced himself as the biological father of Ahmed Ololade, stating:

“Good day, everyone. I am the biological father of Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake. The last time I saw him was in March 2022, when my illness began. If I call Asake, he doesn’t pick up. Please help me; I need your assistance.”

While Asake has not yet addressed these allegations, his former manager, Tunde Phoenix, has expressed his intention to meet with the ailing father to understand the reasons behind the alleged estrangement. He also indicated his plans to establish a GoFundMe campaign to cover Odunsi’s medical costs.

In a series of social media posts, Phoenix stated: “One by one, God will reveal who they truly are. These are no longer my words. Go and pick up your father. We don’t care if he left when you were a child. In fact, I believe that man over anything you might say.”


“If you don’t, we will take on your responsibilities for you and conduct a full interview with him to reveal the truth the public deserves to know.”

Evil! Evil Nigerian people! Once you see a rising star, you will remember a baby mama is crying in Kenya, an abandoned father had stroke and you will stoke the fire so that he can fall! Mr ex manager, bitterness will kill you. Someone will also dig your background to bring in the evils there to public domain to shame and ridicule you! If you like, bring his father to CNN and for those idiots that want to contribute money, look inward to your family and help them! There is time and purpose for everything under the heavens. Stop poking nose into other people's private business. I am sure Asake is not the man's only child and he intentionally came out to blackmail his child into submission after behaving like most of them used to do when he was stringer....I say no to pulling down, yes to lifting up!

There is a big difference between a man that did not stay and the one that nurtures the child! A man can have coitus with 100s of women in a day! If they all have children, he can walk away from it all! A woman cannot, she must endure the nine months and raise the child or also abandon it. It is not all men that are fathers and neither are all women can be called mothers but their actions or inactions shape the attitude and behavior of the child when it becomes an adult!
