Nigerian singer Asake has reconciled with his father, Mr. Fatai Odunsi, following a public dispute. Mr. Odunsi had previously accused Asake of neglecting him during his health challenges. In a recent interview, Mr. Odunsi confirmed that Asake has settled his hospital bills and is arranging to purchase a house for him on Lagos Island. Additionally, Asake has committed to taking full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.

This reconciliation comes after Mr. Odunsi publicly sought financial assistance, claiming he had been abandoned by Asake since 2022. The situation escalated when family members demanded a ₦50 million house in Isale Eko and a DNA test for Zeenat.

However, the recent developments indicate that the family has resolved their differences amicably.

Mr. Odunsi expressed pride in his son and offered prayers, stating that he spoke out because it had been a long time since they last saw each other.

FOOL, MKPI, EZI, Very stupid and greedy fool. That is how they all abandon their fathers and favor mothers that did almost nothing. We toil day and night to provide for these kids but later, they always turn against us. Some people already called him a deadbeat dad so that they could justify Asake's stupidity, while the mom that abandoned him at 3 was left to enjoy his wealth. Men dey suffer sha, but God dey.
