Singer, Timi Dakolo, has tackled cleric, Pastor Femi Lazarus, after he knocked gospel artists who charge money to Minister in churches.

In a video shared on social media, the clergyman said worship meetings in Nigeria have become performances as the guest artists now charge so much.

‘’Worship meetings in Nigeria has now become performances. Someone has charged N5 million to come here to sing. He will roll on the floor, cry..he is doing his business. He will play drummer, saxophonists, He will play keyboardist. If he doesn't charge he will how will he pay them? We have been so far from his presence (of God) we don't know he supplies needs. That question is a question of somebody who doesn't know God. the life we have been called to in ministry is of daily supply. We are to look up to him for the next supply.

The reason why you are why you are saying how he will pay people is because those people who are paying the keyboard are hiringins and not ministers. If we are Ministers, God supplies our needs''

Timi saw the video and begged to differ. He noted that people should stop gaslighting Nigerian gospel singers. He argued that if any pastor feels he shouldn't pay gospel artists, then he should use his church's choristers during any of their programmes.
