Kogi Central Constituents Move to Recall Sen. Natasha, Following Her Suspension From Senate

Constituents in Kogi Central senatorial district of Kogi State, today March 19, began a recall process against their lawmaker in the Senate, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, citing their lack of confidence in her representation and dissatisfaction in the discharge of her duties as their representative in the green chambers.


The process is reportedly underway across the five senatorial districts of Kogi State.

The recall process comes weeks after she accused the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, of sexu@l harassment.


Senator Natasha is currently serving a six-month suspension from the Senate following a hea3ed clash with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The embattled lawmaker had accused Akpabio of s+xu@l h@ra+sment, a claim that further escalated tensions between them.
