A young man identified as @MarkissLulu has taken to social media to reveal his heartbreak after his girlfriend ended their relationship, allegedly because he refused to engage in internet fraud, popularly known as ‘Yahoo,’ to make money.

Posting on X (formerly Twitter), MarkissLulu shared screenshots of their private conversation, exposing how the relationship fell apart earlier this year during a heated argument over finances.

The chat revealed that the disagreement began when his girlfriend expressed her desire to go out with friends, leading to a tense exchange. In the midst of the argument, she berated him for being broke and criticized his refusal to pursue illegal means to acquire wealth, suggesting that his unwillingness to do ‘Yahoo’ was the reason he couldn’t meet her financial expectations.

Still grappling with the emotional aftermath, MarkissLulu admitted that the conversation left him feeling deeply insecure.

Quote
“I don’t know if I was wrong, if I was truly insecure, but I can’t get over this conversation with my ex earlier this year,”
he wrote.

His story has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many users offering words of encouragement and applauding him for standing by his principles despite the hurtful experience.
