I Wept & Pleaded to Remain in Algerian Prison Rather Than Return Home - Nigerian Man Recounts

A Nigerian man who spent time in an Algerian prison has shared his emotional ordeal, revealing how he broke down in tears and pleaded to remain in detention after authorities decided to deport him and other Nigerians.

In a now-viral video, the man recounted the harrowing experience of life in Algeria’s prison system. He explained that despite the harsh conditions, he found some sense of stability and survival inside the prison walls. However, when authorities finalized plans to deport him and fellow Nigerians, he became overwhelmed with fear and uncertainty about what awaited him back home.

According to him, he had no means of survival in Nigeria and feared returning to a life of struggle and hardship. His desperate plea to remain behind bars shocked both fellow inmates and prison officials, highlighting the dire circumstances many undocumented migrants face.

"The day they wanted to deport us back to Nigeria, I was crying and begging them to allow me remain in prison there but they said no."

I can imagine his fear.


Landing back in Nigeria, AIRPORT OFFICIALS will demand a BRIBE from you as soon as you land.

If you “see them” they will help you leave the airport without being arrested as a deported illegal.

Outside the airport and back in the “motherland “you have the NIGERIA POLICE to contend with!  They want their BRIBE  and will beat you up or shoot you - or do both- if you cannot pay up.

AFTER ALL, POOR MAN NO DEY DIE FOR AEROPLANE CRASH!

Then after spending nights sleeping roughly, you get back to YOUR VILLAGE and are MOCKED and made a fool of by your OWN FAMILY for being DEPORTED!

And then after your family has mocked up - they will behave like the airport officials and Nigeria Police - and  ask you “Wetin you carry come back from overs!”
