My friend's name is Israel. He had a girlfriend while we were in school. They dated for about 2yrs and lost contact. All means to contact her proved abortive as her family moved to a new address. After about 6months of no contact, the guy one day ran into an old friend of his girl who gave him the babe's new address. He located the place and they regained contact again. Because they loved each other so much, he forgave her for not contacting him as she knew his address. They resumed their relationship as before. A month later, the girl told Isreal she was pregnant. Then, he was in his final year. He accepted the pregnancy and took care of her till she delivered. To his surprise, she delivered a month before she was supposed to (calculating from when they resumed their relationship to her delivery date was 8 months). As a result of that, he abandoned her and the baby after accusing her of infidelity which she pleaded innocent and changed his phone numbers and destroyed all her pictures. Two years later, he is now in a lovely relationship with another girl but keeps seeing his old girl with a baby in his dreams. Even while spending night with his new babe, he still sees the old one in his dreams regularly.
Please NP, what should he do as he is confused.

Ask for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of the child...........

hmmmmmmmmm! This is serious o! He should had carried out a test to confirm if the baby is his. He can still do that to put his mind at rest. What if the baby belongs to him? How does he make up for those years he abandoned her and the baby? The earlier he finds out the better for him.

some things happen which science cannot explain.....am not excusing the fact that she could have been pregnant b4 they came back; but the guy should @ least explore means of confirming the true paternity instead of abandoning mother & child..........thank God he's not married yet, he should go back 2 her and do a thorough finding......

He thought of a D.N.A test 3months after abandoning mother & child. So when he went back, he was denied access to the child. He was told that the child was dead; but he believes that's a lie.
