Nigerians have expressed a range of reactions to reports of Ghanaian lawmakers challenging their president's budget proposal. Discussions on platforms reveal that some Nigerians view this as a positive example of democratic accountability. For instance, a user commented, "This is true democracy in action.

This can never happen in Nigeria. In Nigeria, the budget would have been heavily padded and the entire lawmakers bribed before the president comes into the national assembly to present and defend it."

If it is in Nigeria, Akpabio will suspend the senator for challenging the presidential budget. You see how  stupid our senators are, Nigerian citizens have no right of expression. When there is no challenge, there would be no correction.
