Firstly, like as I have always mentioned on this forum that Nigerians should think critically before they comment on any issue posted here or anywhere else.
The issue of travelling abroad for delivery is amongst other reasons; a decison anyone can take at least if you can afford it.
Take for example here in greece where I am based, Nigerians here do travel to other parts of europe e.g france, Ireland to deliver their babies all for the sake of better integration and citizenship concerns since the laws here are so rigid and inflexible. So it is not about the same people that have crippled the Nigerian system that are only embarking on this journey.
As Nigerians, we want the best for our children and families, so if the government cannot give that to us and since we have not been able to change the government. what do we do?
For me, either you join them to run the governement or if am so tied to my personal ethics as a christian-I 'd rather run away to a a distant land.
Thanks poster.

its called securing a future for ur children, if ur child is a citizen to one of dis countries, dey have many advantages, they can go anywhere dey want, work there and even earn well. if u have d moni to do dat why not, why give birth to a child in nigeria and at the end the child cant even get a visa to go anywhere or even get a resonable job. abeg wen d time comes i will do the same o

Its not all about citizenship, to some people its about something else. I know dis might sound crazy but its d truth. I heard a very dark lady telling anoda woman dat d next time she gets pregnant dat she'll fly 2 U.S 2 give birth 2 her baby. Den, d woman asked why and she said dat she wants her child 2 be able 2talk wit her tongue like d americans and also have a curly hair and fair complexion like dem. Now dats sick. D truth is dat most Nigerians do not appreciate d fact dat they are africans so dey want to run out of d country and give birth so dat their kids will luk like americans and be like dem but d truth is dat u can't change who u are. Proudly Nigerian.

Because it is fashionable these days to have many citizenship...we are global citizens now so any place Nigerians want to go to give birth is ok.
