A startling confession from a Nigerian man has gone viral on social media after he revealed how a childhood act of revenge unintentionally led to the deaths of 250 chickens on a neighbour’s poultry farm.
The man, identified by his X (formerly Twitter) handle as @JohnOlisa, shared the account in response to a trending post asking users to disclose the most “evil” thing they’ve ever done. In a post that quickly gained traction, he narrated how a petty quarrel over a seized football took a dark turn.
According to his post, a neighbour had confiscated a football after it landed on his property. In retaliation, the young boy—then unaware of the consequences—mixed rat poison with rice and threw it into the man’s poultry, hoping to kill just a couple of chickens. The result was far more devastating.

“Next day I mixed rat poison with some rice and throw them in his poultry. My intention was to kpia just 1 or 2 chickens but bro 250 chickens gone within 3 hours. Fear grip me. His wife cried so much. No one knew the truth till date,”
he wrote.The chilling revelation drew widespread reactions online, ranging from disbelief to condemnation.
