The communal harmony and peace that the mining town Jos used to have has broken down following several inter-ethnic clashes over the years. Hundreds of lives and properties worth millions of naira have been lost due to the incessant crisis.

In quest to salvage the whole situation, Branama Crooner Obareki Irekefe popularly known as Kefee is set to hold a peace concert at the Gwan Pang, Stadium in Jos today march 30th .

Several artistes have expressed strong interest in being a part of the show. Topping the list are Banky W, Ice Prince Zamani, Kel, J’odie, Eva, terry tha rapman among others.

As part of plans for the concert, Kefee also recorded a song featuring some of her colleague in the industry.

On why she is embarking on the project, Kefee disclosed that the move was born out of a desire to contribute her quota towards the return of peace in Jos. We just want to show love and preach peace. I don’t have any relation in Jos but as far as the people are Nigerians, they are my brothers and sisters.

God will bless these artists especially the initiator. The state or town of Jos needs this peace and traquility once more and we pray that the peace will return in that town. May God save all of us.
