Fourteen people including four members of the National Youth Service Corps were feared dead in an auto crash on Friday night along the Okene-Benin road.
The incident, according to eyewitness accounts, resulted after a collision between a tanker carrying bitumen and an 18-seater commercial Hiace bus.
ur correspondent learnt that the accident happened after the tanker suffered a brake failure and crashed into the oncoming bus from Abuja bound for the eastern part of the country.
It was learnt that all the occupants of the bus with a registration number XV 718 ABC lost their lives, while the driver of the tanker could not be found.
The Federal Road Safety Commission, Iruekpen Unit Head of Operation, Mr. Eko Otu Eko, said both vehicles must have been at a high speed when the incident occurred
