Of course, they can hold important offices in Nigeria if given them chance and support. One problem we have in Nigeria is the ability to support and maintain what we have. Some people will see a celebrity running for some post in Govt as weird, because everything seems strange to us. thats our problem.

That is not possible at this time because the thieves (pretending to be politicians) will not allow them.
They will kill them first. The fastest way to be very rich in Nigeria is to get elected to any office, the
thieves and bullies are first in line. They have the guns and employ the hooligans/ area boys.

Celebrities would do a better job but they do not like the idea of becoming dead heroes.
