Flymamacita, i understand you and where you are coming from Europe, Belgium precisely and now i am in Canada, it is a common practice overseas but not in Naija and that is why they said that she is a witch or whatever. it is unusual in Naija for a man to do cookings or house chores it is reserved maily for women. So don't be surprise.

i met dis lady on my way 2 church for choir practice, sited outside looking so pale. i decided to stop by and ask her if she was ok,cos shes pregnant, thinking she was under labour. but she started by telling me that her inlaws mother inlaw, sister inlaws and other of her husbands relative are saying that she has poisoned her husbands hrt and made him her house boy, i asked how? she said her husband stoped her from doing all the house chores, and has refused to get her a maid. dat she should only take her bath, rest, watch tv, take a stroll, eat and sleep,so as to not over work herself as she would soon be due for delivery. he even washes her clothes and her undies, sweep the hose, wash the dishes etc. now they are all calling her a witch. i was shocked thou. but didnt knw what to say. all i told her was that she shouldnt mind them. that she,s very lucky to have such a man thats caring and umderstanding. she should be happy and forget abt what her inlaws says.

They only way this marriage can survive is for the couple to get the
in-laws out of their business. The husband need to ask his relatives
to stop interferring in their marriage. Wish the married couple luck!

African families and marriage mentality..., shuuo! Why dem no leave dis woman make she flex her matrimony? If na western world woman she go don commit murder or send dem to jail... My advice is that she should call her hubby to handle his family n after that for her own good she should place them on her ignore list Smiley

heheheheheheh. abi ooooooooo

Tell her to go on her kneels and talk to God in prayers so dat God will touch the hearts of the inlaws and make dem understand dat she did nofin to her hubby. It is only God can Intercede on dat kind of situation bcuz wit our African mentality it looks suspicious even some oyibo sef wil also see it dat way.

That shows he is a loving caring husband, helping her wife when she is pregenant is not bad,he is to assist her when the need calls, but i hope the woman will resume her duties after the child birth cos she is to look after the well look of the house while the man goes out to get cash for food and others.
