Her family members is accusing her lover, Chimezie of being the mastermined. The family claimed that it was Chimezie that last called her phone, and the deceased told them she had an appointment with him in a hotel. However, the police have declared a manhunt for the lover boy and have arrested some staff of the hotel where the love birds allegedly met before her death. A police source told Daily Sun that preliminary investigation has shown that the two lovers actually met in the hotel where they allegedly paid N700 for a short time stay. The source disclosed that the deceased actually died in the hotel room before her lover ran away, leaving the corpse, but the staff in order to avoid arrest, allegedly dumped it in the gutter. The police source said the questions they are still trying to find answers to, are whether the woman was poisoned by her boyfriend or that she died out of exhaustion during sex. Her younger sister, Susan Cardrin, told Daily Sun that the deceased was allegedly murdered by Chimezie. Cardrin alleged that on the fateful day, Chikodili received a phone call believed to be from Chimezie who asked her to meet him in a hotel. She said her sister, a London returnee, left the house immediately but few hours later, the news started filtering the town that her sister’s corpse was found in a gutter. She claimed that some people who saw Chimezie in company with her sister told her that they saw her entering the hotel with Chimezie. She said she was reliably informed by a staff of the hotel that Chimezie paid for the service. According to her, she believed Chimezie poisoned her sister. She decried the callous attitude of the staff of the hotel who she accused of allegedly dumping ther corpse in a gutter. She is appealing to the police to arrest Chimezie, who is on the run and the hotel staff. A staff of the hotel who confinded to Daily Sun alleged that after the expiration of the shot time. “My colleague went to knock on the door to inform the love birds that their time was over, but no one replied. So, when he forced the door open, he could not stand what he saw.” The staff further hinted that the lover boy was in a better position to explain what happened to the deceased. “Because, after committing the act, he sneaked out and told us that he was going to buy suya. The Area Commander for Nnewi, John Nwele, confirmed the incident, saying that investigation would soon reveal what happened.
