Yes, is good like that, if we can implement it. becos we are too many without work, there must be system of child reduction in Nigeria.

Well in every nonsense there is a sense in it, its true that there are not suppose to tell us what to do, but i agree its better we try and regulate our birth. Because some people only knows how to give birth but don know how to train. A lot of people out there that commit crimes are from families that can not carter for them. So in order to have a minimal crimes and basic amenities for all, govt should regulate birth in Nigeria. Its better to have one or two well trained children than to have twenty children with nothing to show for.

I agree that child bearing should be controlled in Nigeria. President Goodluck Jonathan himself complained about the high birthrate in the country. The actual population of Nigeria cannot be ascertained because we are not good at Record Keeping and the likes of it. A lot of children are born every week in Nigeria and they are not registered. They don't even have birth certificates. Controlling and being able to document the actual number of people in Nigeria will enable the Government plan effectively for them. Limiting couples to having three children is ideal but I also feel the Western world has an agenda behind the plan. The Western countries have too many old people and the younger ones are not giving birth to enough children. Children of immigrants are more than those of the native peoples of Europe. So the West wants to control the birth of children in the home countries of the Immigrants in Europe. The wars of the future will be fought on Population control. Cheers.

No need for an outside agency to tell anybody this.  Family planning is a must anywhere you live.  You have as many children as you so desire as long as you have the financial, emotional and spiritual means to take care of those children.  If you can't provide  proper shelter, meals, school fees and health care for your children, then you really have no business having them.

It's a mix of propaganda, imperial strategy to control foreign influx and a wake-up call for Nigeria to take the welfare of its citizens seriously.

Anyway its a good thing 4 some 1 with good sence of humor to have at least 3 children or more provided the head of familly can take care of the children to primary, secondary, and univesity level. However it was wrong 4 UN to have made such an unfortunate statement about Naija. Infact i thought they travel alot, havent they see places like Bamako, Mali, Niger, chad, cdr, ghana,Bokina faso, togo etc to mention just a few where there is no control of unwanted pregnancy. All they do is to have the baby and start begin on the street.
