Is cuddling more important than sex?

 More and more females seem to love being cuddled more so than even sex. While the cuddling gives off an emotional feeling of security and warmth, that later leads into a more physical interaction, the sex alone could often just be an instinctive purely physical pleasure without the emotional attachment which cuddling provides. In a relationship do you value cuddling more than you would actual sex?
