I agree and I disagree- romance novels doesnt always make gals play hard to get. However, it can often encourage them to have unrealistic expectations about relationships. In fairy-tales and romantic stories, love conquers all and very often the boy meets girl, fall in love and live happily ever after, in most cases real hardship facing relationships are not described.
