Cinderella Complex OR non-romantic.

 Boifriend - Hey Baby, I am about to go to the store. Do you want anything?
 Girlfriend - No! I'm good.
 Boifriend - Are you sure?
 Girlfriend - Yes! I do not want anything.
   (Man goes to the store and buys himself some newer clothes ONLY for himself. He comes back and wife likes what he bought for himself).


NEXT DAY...

 Boifriend - Baby, I am about to go shopping, do you want to come with me?
 Girlfriend - No! I'm good. you can go.
 Boifriend - Kool! Do you want me to buy you anything then?
 Girlfriend - No! Do not worry about buying me anything. I'm good.
 Boifriend - Ok! If you say so. You sure?
 Girlfriend - Yes! I am positive.
     (Man leaves for shopping. After buying things for himself, on his way back home, girlfriend calls him...)
 Girlfriend - Where are you/ Just checking on you. Are you Ok?
 Boifriend - Yes! I am done shopping and I am on my way back home.
 Girlfriend - Oh Kool! Did you buy me anything?
 Boifriend - No! i asked you if you wanted anything and you said No. So why are you asking me this/
 Girlfriend - I know I said No BUT you should've surprised me with something.
 Boifriend - What in the world is wrong with you? Why didn't you tell me you wanted anything. Why can't you be real with yourself for once. Geez! (he gets upset)
 Girlfriend - I expect you to surprise me...



    Question: What did you notice from this conversation and do you think the man is wrong or the girl is wrong in what he/she did. Is it that someone has a Cinderella complex OR that the other person isn't romantic. I mean we are living in the REAL world and I believe people should be real with themselves and stop fantasizing about things that are not worth it.
