Natural disaster is no respecter of  any country and can occur anywhere. I suppose that's just a way of nature telling us that we need to pay attention to environmental care.  My heart goes out to the bereaved.

May God have mercy on the whole world.  The kind of heavy downpour being witnessed in various part of the world is
as the world is going to an end.  Last sunday rain was dead serious, but nothing to compare to that of Japan.

We should give a kudos to our able GOVERNOR. Should  what visited lagos last sunday visit Oyo, Oshun, it would have
been distastrous.  Thank God our drainages were not in bad shape.

The govt & media failed Lagosians, the media should have warned Lagosians on the weather changes and its severity, it should have been in their climate forecast, but what do you expect when a Mass Comm graduate is asked to forecast the weather? the govt should have anticipated this long b4 and created adequate drainage channels. Where was NEMA to help the distress? but before we blame Fashola and ask him to resign, lets look for an alternative to him....no alternative no blaming!!....a PDP govt would undoubtedly have done worse. The only good thing PDP leaders in Lagos said was the call for compensation to the affected. Govt should take responsible when it fails to perform and pay deserving damages to families affected.
