While we should call a spade a spade,
the police made a mistake for killing the guy
and the culprits (police involved) should be brought to book,
but the members of the sect should know that they can't match
the power of the government forces if they should be given a level playing ground to display their superiority in the exchange of gun powder & fire. All we need is peace

It will be wise for the Government to dialogue with Boko Haram sect, like they did with Niger Delta Militants, and pay compensation for those killed by the police.

POINT OF CORRECTION! WRITER, THIS LETTER MUST NOT COME FROM BOKO HARAM. YOU ARE VERY-VERY WRONG IN SAYING THAT THIS IS A LETTER FROM BOKO HARAM. DO YOU EVER NOTICED HOW THEY TALK WHEN REFERRING TO GOVERNMENT? I DOUBT IT.

First of all the ideology of prohibiting western education is a mistake. That cannot be possible at all.

The major problem is how the Nigerian securities (ONE OF THE MOST INEXPERIENCED AND IRRESPONSIBLE IN THE WHOLE AFRICA IF NOT THE WHOLE WORLD) went ahead searching from house to house, bringing out all men, old, middle aged, young and even crippled ones, shooting them like chicken (THAT HAS NOTHING OT DO WITH BOKO HARAM BUT WANTON MURDER). Even the United States of America while killing Osama bin Laden, spared his families and took him alone. Why must TRIGGER happy Nigeria Police went ahead and kill everyone?

I believe Nig. Pol. played a significant role in the upsurge of Boko Haram activities by killing their leader Mohammed Yusuf. Where in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is it provided that a criminal or whatever should be killed that way? If Muhammad Yusuf were alive, it might not have reached this state. He should have been arrested, brought to book. \

We should remember that Military arrested Mohammed Yusuf and handed him over to Police alive. They even interviewed him before they handed him over to them. Shortly after they handed him over, the trigger happy NP spray bullets on him. Is that the solution? We are seeing......

Boko Haram.... i want you to know that Nigeria is at the brick of breaking up. IBB killed Dele Giwa, OPC do not kill innocent civilians. General Abacha Killed Ken Siro Wiwa, Niger Delta do not kill innocent civilians. The Igbos do not kill anybody when their prominent Men where killed by your Northern led government. Because a northerner is not a President, You and your sponsors(AREWA) decided to kill innocent christains to destabilize the GEJ government . Do you Know what will happen if the southern geo-political Zone decide to Kill all the Northerners is their areas. Your writing this letter to the same president you and your sponsor(AREWA) called an INFIDEL because your scared on what the Niger Delta wrote on Vanguard News paper(12th July). You like it or not Sovereign National Conference will happen where all the Geo-political zone will decide their future.

Anoda tribal bigot n prophet of doom. When Nigerians should come 2gether 2 face common enemies, u are there exploring tribes, divisions and religions. Wake up 2 d fact dat 9ja is here 2 stay weda u n ur likes agree or not, petty boy

The root causes are two.

1) Injustice which must be corrected.
2) An obvious lack of economic development in a zone (Northeast) which in the last 5 years has received less than 1% of Federal Government spending.

You are complaining of lack of economic development when you reject education?
You complain of injustice when you murder people?

I don't think its because of this that your are killing people all over the federation.
