i have no doubt in my mind that sanusi came wt an agenda. he started wt his so called banking reform where he unlawfully transferred ownership of otherwise healthy banks to northern cronies while destroying the banking sector which before now used to be the highest employer of labour but now what we witness is daily lay off of workers.....'reformation indeed'. Now he wants to eclipse his plan by bringing sharia banking which will not help but rather polarise and divide the nation further. We are going to have a situation where all the muslims use a different bank from christians...this is segregation, separationism, sectarianism, divisionism and will surely tear this country apart!! The quicker the islamic banking proposal is dumped the better for us, its not a welcome idea at all and will never be in the interest of peace and unity of this country!!

AM OF THE OPINION THAT ALL OF YOU THAT ARE OPPOSING ISLAMIC BANKING ARE BEING SENTIMENTAL ON THE ISSUE PURPOSELY BECAUSE YOU ARE AT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RELIGION.

WHAT WE SHOULD LOOK AT IS THE BENEFIT OF ISLAMIC BANKING WHICH YOU PEOPLE FAIL TO LOOK AT.
WHAT IS THE POSITION OF THE TWO RELIGION ON INTEREST IN BANKING

IF SOME SET OF PEOPLE DONT LIKE INTEREST AND THEY WANT A BANKING SYSTEM THAT WILL SUIT THEM SO LET IT BE.

HOW MANY UNIVERSITIES IN NIGERIA ARE OWN BY CHRISTIAN/CHURCHES AND HOW MANY OWN BY MUSLIM/ISLAMIC ORGANISATION?

YET NO MUSLIM COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS

THE BANKING SYSTEM IN NIGERIA TODAY ARE DOMINATED BY CHRISTIAN EITHER BY EMPLOYER OR EMPLOYEE

YET NO MUSLIM FOR ONE DAY COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS.

SO LET PEACE RAIN IN THIS COUNTRY AND LET US FACE DEVELOPMENTAL ISSUES

THE PROPHETS WE CLAIM TO FOLLOW(MUHAMMAD/JESUS) ARE GOD'S TREASURE AND THEY HAVE NOT ONE DAY CONDEMN EACH OTHER

well personally i see no wrong in this islamic banking since it will be lending money to people, atleast all those jobless almajiris in the north can start something, but it has to be seriously monitored because it can be used to sponsor terrorism and thats the fear of most nigerians
