Quote from: dirtykid on 1-08-2011 10:56 PM Whats good about buying off Nitel ?? A whole telecommunication of representing the nation ? Na waoo, it shows how low our govt can't control the right things that are suppose to be for the interest of the masses. Hey dirtykid,Mike Adenuga did a great job by saving the ass of NITEL from foreign investors, because NITEL have been suffering from lack of funding from the federal government for more than 20 years now,so instead of flushing the little money investing on NITEL every year down the drain without profit, why can't they let it go and let a more experienced MIKE ADENUGA to manage it the way he is managing GLOBALCOM(the second national carrier after nitel). We all know he stole from us but at least he is giving back to us directly or indirectly.Let us not forget something, MIKE ADENUGA was the one that make the tariff of GSM in nigeria to be more affordable, even though we still want the tariff to come down but at least he played a big role in the present tariff. A lot of people stole from us and they never gave back by means of investing in the country instead they they will take the money abroad to invest. Can't Mr Mike open another telecommunication company and allow govt to run the NITEL ? Most people are just interested about the figure mentioned and so on, when are we going to wake from this our long sleep and see the dangers ahead... what will govt use that money do, probably someone will just pocket it and we'll keep suffering for nothing ![]() ![]()
