Voice of Youth Assembly/Award is an annual youth gathering for young entrepreneur, within the African communities. This program is hosted alongside the VOYAfrica Young Leadership Award in partnership with Great Development for Youth Initiative and other international organization.

This year the host city Lagos State, Nigeria, West Africa, will see young entrepreneurs coming together under a unify platform to discuss topical issues militating development in Africa and possible solutions. At the end of the assembly issues discussed will be forwarded to some democratic elected president in Africa, ECOWAS, UN, World Bank etc as a contribution to the development of Africa communities.
The Theme: “Strategic alliances for development in Africa” will be sub-divided into different topic;
•   MDG
•   Policy issues – A problem of African development
•   ICT
•   Capacity building
•   Agric business
•   Financial support and partnership for SMEs.

Selected young leaders will receive abundant opportunities for learning, sharing, networking and forming lasting friendships with like minded individuals from around the Africa community, those who share common interest in civil society, Millennium Development Goal (MDG), social entrepreneurship, ICT and leadership development.

Accordingly, the forum will place premium on nurturing and developing young people for local and global leadership while building bridges and a network of solidarity which promote the sharing of experiences and understanding of and provide an impetus for the empowerment of young leaders that will enable them to play a crucial and constructive role in the development of Africa and the world at large.

Twenty young leaders who is or have in a way champion development in her community will receive the VOYAfrica Young Leadership Award. This idea thus becomes necessary to encourage and recognize youth whose work has not been recognized and also to encourage others to follow same path. In the same vein there will be a formal lunching of the “VOYAfrica maiden magazine edition. We are committed in expanding our network to other part of Africa. This magazine will give participant the ability to voice their opinions, business ideals & advert; investment plan and prefer much needed ideals in building strategic alliance for development in Africa. The voice of the poor, less privilege will be express, so together we can build a better economy.
