Don't say nothing, if you don't know what to contribute. Think of the tradition of your people, it will not work Mr man. However, if you succeed, the girls will be tasted of HIV/AIDS before giving a licence, And will be tasting for HIV/AIDS every 3months, kill if found possitive.
Police most not have right to arrest or issue a licence to the girls, because they are all friends to police. Any illagel prostitude catch should be tasted and kill if possitive, reguardless of the background. There must be a separent body to arrest them. They will have the equal right like every other person and can contest for any possition in the Government.
Sufficient CONDOMS should be made available to the TOILET of every Secondary schools and Universities. If to be sale, it must not be sale more or less than 2pieces - I Naira. And, will be sale by Mechines, so that those who are SHY will get theirs aswell.

Senator, NO!NO! Sex Promoter IKE EKWEREMADU is a disgrace to man race. Instead of these fools that call themselves Senators to find way to legislate how to make job available to the youths of nigeria, they are planning to legalize Shawo work because of their own selfish desire. It is  Legislators that make the business boom in nigeria. IKE EKWEREMADU SHOULD BE RECALLED.

Na waoooooo. Alright, lets also legalize armed rubbery becos it is also a profession. I believe the deputy senate president patronises Ashawo. that is why he want it legalize. No problem, one day one of his sibling will be there to serve the public. God is watching.

legalizing prostitution is great and this is why.it will enable govt to regulate it and protect the women..........by regulating it ,govt is going to issue licenses that is subject to health check ,collect taxes and make availabe alternative ventures so that any women who wants to get out will have the neccessary imformation to do so............It will protect the women against all forms of abuses and exploitation especially underage young girls.....This women will not be afraid to report such abuses...this is how its done in more than 60 countries around the world where it is legal..............I know that a lot you have this moral judgement about this group of people but nobody willl choose this profession if there are available alternative to survive in a country like nigeria.......The problem is not prostitute, but the govt that has faile the citizens of nigeria.....prostitution is not gong to dissappear into thin air,let face it.its the world oldest profession and will be there for hundreds of years to come..nobody can change that...so lets be realistic......let the nigeria police fucus on more serious crimes like  robbery and kidnapping......the senator was right....
nice point especially in health check ups but my opinion is not about legalising it put i think there are more things 2 put at place first b4 talking of this so mr senator ur idea maybe good in some way but 1st legalize good health, steady power suply, security, good road etc then we fit consider u after we get developement,

I think they should legalize it .. It would prevent child abuse in a way and they can put fines and other punishments for breaking the law Tongue

There is no need legalizing it. If someone wants do something odd in the society, one must not encourage or support it just because you cannot sop it.

What is this again? This news torn my stomach apart last week and today again we're on the same topic?? Deputy Senate President David Mark & Senator Ike Ekweremadu Lacks Judgement. They simply ignorant and an excuse for leaders
God bless her excellency wife of Lagos State Governor, Mrs. Abimbola Fashola.(when the good people rule, there's harmony...when bad and Idiotic rules, we have natural disasters and unknown diseases.
We've always tried to stop murder, but people are being killed on daily bases, we've always fought against child abuse, we still see it every day, we try to stop drug abuses, more people are planing to invest hugely into it, the police are always combating crimes, has it stopped? Should crimes be legalized? You want prostitution legalized so woman can be safe, are you going to input a GPS in their bodies to monitor where they go and see where their rights are violated? In facts legalizing prostitution means legalizing child disobedience to parents  at home, that would also give many people the right own and force women into prostitution because they become legalized source of trade by those who feel they can own them. With some past experience I know prostitute are the worst drug abusers and carriers, they commit murders, used by all sorts of people to achieve common but illegal goals. legalizing prostitution means you must give right to patronizers as well.....I mean, the whole and and where it comes from is shrouded in mystery.
If you so much care about woman's right, then lets fight to make them 100% equal with the men in the society. Give them more political backing, rights to chose who they want to marry with tribalism. Right to education and rights to work any where without segregation.
