Ben Murray Bruce, Silverbird chairman was yesterday screened out of the Bayelsa governorship race in Bayelsa State.

Ben Murray Bruce was screened out by the Gubernatorial Screening Appeal Committee of the PDP in Bayelsa State, for possessing dual citizenship which they say is against the Gubernational Constitution.

Though Ben Murray Bruce do have good ambitions for the state, but this flaw could not be accepted by the Gubernatorial Screening Appeal Committee.

That is rubbish & selfishness, how can someone with dual citizen cant contest for an election in his father land again, this is the first time of hearing such nasty excuse, 9igeria politics with the stupid law, after-all everyone witness President Obama of United State, and apart from that, a lot of black men on sit in the United Kingdom and also in the United State, this is lack of ignorant & lack of exposure. May God deliver us from the hands of all evil leaders in Nigeria.

It's funny reading this now. 5 years later. Murray Bruce of Silverbird finally got his wishes for political power. Aft3er spending so much time chasing politics, we all expected more.
