My friend is preparing to get married to his long dated girlfriend, just last week he traveled to see his parents inlaw to be. After declaring his intention, he was advised to sleep over so he can get the Marriage List the next day. He came back confused and discouraged, i asked him why the sudden change? have u fixed the date? he told me, o boy just wait a minute he went inside and brought out a list containing all items needed for the marriage, as i went through it it was really expensive every thing put together on the list amounted to N2.5M. But the most shocking one was the bride-price -N1m and must be paid annually on their anniversary day as long as the parents inlaw lives. now my frd is so confused but the truth is that he loves the girl. please advice.

If she rove him too, make they give the one they fit find now, then start stay together na. Who tell him say marraige list or bride price di ever finish? If the list amount N2.5m, make him give even the N50 wey he get now, why headache over nothing?
