@preciousA,  dat instruction is from the person of Timothy & it is found in d bible wch is God's word. 2timothy 3:16 tells dat ALL scriptures is by divine inspiration. So even if we assume its Timothy's opinion, d fact dat it is found in d bible means dat God approves of it as a standard for xtians.  Timothy was inspired by God the think of dat opinion & God approves it & made it recorded in His book the bible. Ephesians 5:24, 1corr 14:34-35 even said it is in accord wt God's law. The biblw is nt Timothy or paul's book. It is frm God & evry instructions it contains shld be seen as coming frm God. Those men wrote thru direction of God's holy spirit.
