Whitney Houston's Cause of Death May Have Been Drowning

"While the autopsy results have not yet been released, reports are coming out that Whitney Houston may have drowned in her hotel bathtub.

TMZ is reporting that Houston was found in the tub with her face below the water’s surface. Sources said Houston’s hairdresser had gone to check on the singer after becoming concerned that she had been in the bathroom for more than an hour. The body’s position suggested that Houston slid down the back of the tub into the water.

There are reports that Houston was known to be taking Xanax and other prescription sedatives, which, combined with alcohol, may have caused her to fall asleep in the bathtub."
