Nine Nigerians and three local women were arrested in separate raids last week in Puchong and Selayang.
On February 19th, police raided an apartment in Puchong and arrested five Nigerians and three local women.
Nearly two kilograms of cannabis and syabu were seized from the suspects.
Police later arrested two Nigerians in a condominium in Puchong and seized 6 kilograms of cannabis.
On 20th February another two Nigerian men were arrested in Selayang and 4.5 kilograms of cannabis were found hidden inside the suspect's car.
Selangor Narcotics chief ACP Nordin Kadir said the Nigerians, aged between 23 and 33, claimed they were studying in private colleges in the Klang Valley.
Police investigations revealed the foreigners have been trafficking drugs in the past three months including to college students.
All suspects were remanded for seven days to assist investigations.
