Nigerian Doctor, Edwin Njoku Arrested For molesting His Patient In USA

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (NECN) - A East Hartford doctor accused of segxwally assaulting a patient appeared in court.

Doctor Edwin Njoku may lose his medical license following accusations of segxwal assault made by a female patient.




"He raped me. He's a rapist," said Anolan Drago, alleged victim.

Drago, 29 is talking about her doctor, Edwin Njoku. She says he segxwally assaulted her last October in his East Hartford office during an exam. She went to the emergency room after the attack, and police were called.

Police gathered evidence including DNA samples from saliva on Drago's Bosom  and fluid on her clothes and body. That evidence was presented at Dr. Njoku's disciplinary hearing where he faces the loss of his license to practice.

His license has already been suspended. A lab technician testified that the DNA in the fluids is consistent with Dr. Njoku. An East Hartford police officer said, when he first interviewed Dr. Njoku, the doctor had a curious reaction.

"He said that I will not admit that I have had intercourse. If that's what you want me to do, I'm not going to do that," said Sgt. Joshua Litwin of the East Hartford Police Department.

Dr. Kjoku's actions were curious because no one had mentioned what the accusations were.

Dr. Njoku's attorney told the medical panel that Drago's recount of what happened was inconsistent. But the lawyer for the health department had this response.



"The victim did not make up the DNA results and they match, exactly, her story," said David Tilles, Health Dept. Attorney.

Dr.Njoku sat listening to all of the details without taking the stand. His attorney rested without calling any witnesses.

"I have lots of things to say, and I will say it to you at the end of the criminal proceedings, but at this present time its improper for me to do so," said Dr.Njoku, accused Physician.

His accuser was also in the room, and it was no easier for her.

"It's very hard just to sit there and see him sitting like he didn't did nothing. Like he's an innocent person and he's not, he did say to you all through the TV that the truth will come out and the truth did came out. Once and for all I have to prove once again the DNA. It show everything," said Drago, alleged victim.

Nigerians are not the only people found committing crime but when a Nigerian commits a crime they present it in such away that it looks like we are they only bad people on earth! If it were true that the Dr did it is very bad but believe me we are better than many countries in terms of crime.

This U.S women have too much wahala (hypocrisy). I suspect there was some sort of
disagreement after the show and she decided to call the Police.

Maybe some of you still remember the former IMF Chairman, Strauss Kahn.
The lady that accused him of rape was expecting a huge out-of-court settlement,
but when Straus Kahn bore the shame and went to court, she couldn't substantiate her claims.

I had always wonder where an old man like Strauss Kahn would have mustered the strength
to rape a lady her age and size when he could easily call in prostitutes.

Recently, during the Occupy Wall Street protest here in the U.S, a guy was arrested for attempted rape.
Two days later, three other women came forward to confess that they had also been raped in the same
camp during the protest.

How on earth can a woman be raped in a crowded camp during a protest if she didn't agree and enjoy it.
One of the ladies even said the rapist raped her repeatedly for some days, Holy Cow!

Am just starting to hate women bcoz they are taking undue advantage of the law and making ridiculous accusations.

Now Dr Njoku, are saying as old as u are, u are nt married? Or u tink it nigeria whr u can do watever u like and get away wit it. Why is it only most bad people dat have d means to travel abroad to disgrace us .
