Is it out of love or care. Or, it is just to satisfy a personal motive or self esteem purpose? Why do parents frown at their children each time they do what they tell them not to do?
Even if the child is old enough to makes decisions on his own, parents still hate to see such child doing what they tell him or her not to do. Why?

Someone said they hate to be looked down at. By refusing them: you're telling them that: nothing concers them in your affairs and that you're old enough.

Its not lookin down on them, do ur elders look down on u for teaching u somtin?
It depends on hw u raise ur kids...but for me whn a child is misbehavin yes i will find correct punishment
