Disobedience is the root cause of sin. Jesus Christ only dealt with sin and its nature. So if you are a christian, i mean born again, you cannot sin because it is not in you. But many christians still commit sin, even though they pray and fast, study the bible, go to church. they ask for forgiveness regularly. Many christians lie, steal, fornicate, masturbate, backbite, watch pornography, they are involved in fraud. All this is because they are living in disobedience...

The moment you disobey, you must sin. It is a LAW. Sin is only the consequence of disobedience.
You cannot fight sin, you cannot pray against sin, it has been dealt with, you can only pray against the spirit of disobedience. It is this spirit that leads you to still sin even when you are a christian. No wonder the word of God says that obedience is better than sacrifice. 1st samuel 15:22. The moment you disobey God's word whether ignorantly or intentionally, you have submitted yourself to the power of sin. You need to know what you should do or what you should not do. Knowledge is relevant if you must live a sin-free life. Receive the grace to be completely obedient in the name of Jesus Christ.
