Singer Mayorkun Moves to Press Full Charges Against Nicki da Barbie After N1bn Lawsuit

Nigerian singer Mayorkun has escalated legal actions against TikTok influencer Nicki DaBarbie by pressing full charges following a N1 billion defamation lawsuit.

The controversy began when Nicki DaBarbie accused Mayorkun and fellow musician Skiibii of attempting to use her for occult rituals.

These serious allegations led Mayorkun to demand the removal of the defamatory content, a public apology, and N1 billion in damages for emotional distress, lost endorsements, and legal fees

While making his moves known, Mayorkun wrote:

“I have never met Nickie Da Barbie in real life and she accused me of been a R i t u a l i s t and Putting something in her drink , till this very Moment I have still never seen Her with my eyes, How else can I Prove that I am Innocent ? I will not listen to anyone’s opinion i will press Full Charges on Nicki Da Barbie even though I am aware she is remanded in Prison at the moment and not even on my own charges yet “
